The always enjoyable Elder Glee Club will host its Fall Cabaret on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Father Reardon Hall at St. William Church. Military veterans will be honored at the event including FREE admission ! Advanced reservations required.

Sophomores in Elder's Honors Leadership Seminar class is hosting a canned food drive this week (Oct. 25-27). Those students who donate goods to the cause could win a Kyle Rudolph signed jersey!

Terry McLaughlin '66 was presented with the Altiora Award during the Honors Banquet on October 15, 2017. The award is the highest award given by Elder High School.

Elder High School is pleased to announce Tim Gruber '11 as the school’s next head varsity lacrosse coach.


In honor of Pro-Life month, Elder's Pro-Life Club will once again raise funds for Pregnancy Center West through our 4th Annual Baby Bottle Campaign, October 2-6.

Our rigorous Honors Program was designed to provide unique opportunities and challenges to select students. One such opportunity includes a speaker series where students get to hear from community leaders.

We wish to acknowledge the juniors and seniors who have been elected to the 2017-2018 National Honor Society!

Elder students have begun volunteering their time at the Sheakley Boys & Girls Club of Cincinnati on Glenway as a way of giving back to Price Hill and helping grade school students prepare for life.

Elder Swimming was well represented at this year's Great Ohio River Swim on September 24, 2017. In honor of former Elder assistant swimming coach Bill Keating Jr., participants were provided with purple swim caps to wear.

Connor Hirth '18 was named as a Commended Student by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

It's always nice when our grads volunteer their time to come back and positively affect the lives of our students. In September, members of the Entrepreneurship Club learned more from two of these grads about the path to owning their own businesses.

Freshman Thomas "T.J." Jung has been wakeboarding since he was five-years-old. This past summer, his skills took him to Waco, TX to compete at the national level. Read more about his journey!

Our friends at Pregnancy Center West stopped by Elder to speak to students in Mrs. Julie Martin's New Testament class about The Body Matters program.

Students from the Elder Art Department took on a "mega"-project already this school year by redesigning and painting the school's spirit megaphones!

This was the 30th year that Dave Rauen '81 has traveled to Rapid Run Park to deliver the banner that he made to commemorate the memory of his best friend and fellow classmate, Greg Weber.

In 2016, Dan and Rhonda McCloskey thought so highly of our visiting Cross Country team members that they offered to cook up dinner for the boys the next time they were in town. This year, they enjoyed an exceptional Italian dinner together!
