We would like to welcome Maura Gettler as the Elder High School Director of Admissions & Marketing.  Maura comes to us from Thomas More College where she spent the last three years as a Senior Enrollment Counselor performing management and recruitment activities, planning events, coordinating  visits, and implementing the student ambassadors program.  

Maura’s enthusiasm, passion, creativity, and experience will be instrumental as she takes on this important position at Elder High School.  Maura has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Thomas More College.  Maura graduated from McAuley High School.  Welcome, Maura!

Elder High School is offering a one week course to prepare eighth grade boys for the High School Placement Test (HSPT). This class is taught by teachers who are proficient in their respective fields. The class will allow boys to: Take Practice Tests, Learn Test Taking Skills, Review Materials on the Math and Language Portions of the HSPT, Participate in Fun Activities, Gain Insight on the High School Admissions Process, Experience Elder. Join us on Friday, May 15th from 6 PM to 9 PM for the Annual Elder Art Show.  At the show, over a thousand works of art will be on display as well as the senior art and photography portfolios. Come check out the students' bonanzas and the infamous rolling sculptures will start at 7pm.  We hope to see you there!

Join us on Saturday, May 9 at 7:00 pm in the Elder Fieldhouse for the 15th Annual Steel Drum Festival.  Admission is FREE and includes participants from Elder, Clark Montessori and Madison High Schools. There will also be a Mass Band performance, including all participants!!!  Hope to see you there!

At ElderFEST on Friday, May 1st, the top 10 students of the Class of 2015 were recognized.  They are: David Meyer, Eric Huff,  Joshua Rhoads, Benjamin Merk, David Eubanks, Harry Laiveling, Michael O’Brien, Luke Jett, Salutatorian, Spencer Niehaus, and Valedictorian, Brady Kraemer.  These top ten students have earned over two million dollars in scholarships so far.  Congratulations on your achievements and good luck in the future!  Click heading above for more details.
