Elder students from Mrs. Heidi Hanks’s French II classes toured the Vincent Van Gogh: Into the Undergrowth exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum on December 6th.  The exhibit features more than 20 paintings on loan from American, Asian, and European collections.  As preparation for the field trip, the 42 students first studied Van Gogh’s life and work and then practiced close observation, analysis, and interpretation of his paintings.

Accompanying Mrs. Hanks and the students to the museum included Principal Mr. Kurt Ruffing and Mr. Ken Sovern, one of Elder's guidance counselors.
