The Entrepreneurship Club met for the first time this school year on September 19, 2017.
Aaron Monk '07 and Steve Anevski '05 visited Elder that morning to host a Q&A session with the students, focusing on how to start up a business and what it takes to run a successful business.
Steve also spoke about how he started his company Upshift, a digital platform which connects businesses and workers for on-demand labor through mobile and web applications. Upshift makes work easy by putting shifts just the click of a button away.
The club's plan is to meet at least once a month by bringing in grads to talk about their path to entrepreneurship and owning their own businesses.
