Elder Senior Jacob Humphrey has been honored for his exemplary volunteer service with a President’s Volunteer Service Award.  The award, which recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and their country, was granted by The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program on behalf of President Barack Obama. Elder High School nominated Jacob for national honors this fall in recognition of his volunteer service.

Humphrey volunteers as a Kairos Retreat Leader, a tutor at St. Leo's Church, and at Children's Hospital Green Township Urgent Care.  He is also a member of the Philanthropy Club, Key Club, Elder Honors Program, National Honor Society and participated in the March for Life.

Congratulations, Jacob on this well-deserved honor!
