Elder Grads to Share Their Insights & Expertise at Career Day – February 3
On Friday, February 3rd, the Elder Businessmen’s Association will sponsor the 16th Annual Career Day.  Last year’s Career Day featured 68 alums who generously shared their career experiences with Junior and Senior students.

Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer Joe Morgan Will Be Featured Speaker at Annual Elder Sports Stag – May 24th
Mark your calendar for Thursday, May 24th!  The Elder Alumni Association is excited to announce that 10-time All Star, Silver Slugger and 5-time Gold Glove winner, 2-time NL MVP, and Hall of Fame second baseman from The Cincinnati Reds' Big Red Machine, JOE MORGAN, will be the featured speaker for Elder's 36th Annual Sports Stag on Thursday, May 24th.  More details to follow.
 

Recent Events:

Christmas Shopping in Chicago - November 1-4
There's nothing quite like Christmas shopping along Chicago's famed Michigan Avenue!  Participants enjoyed sightseeing, shopping, and a stage play of White Christmas.  The excursion benefited the Paul Frey Scholarship Fund. 

Alumni Keeneland Trip - October 13th
Fellow alums and friends spent the day at Keeneland in Lexington, KY on Thursday, October 13th.   An enjoyable time was had by all!

Grandparent/Grandson Mass & Brunch - September 18th
On Sunday, September 18th, the Elder Alumni Association hosted the second annual Grandparents/Grandson Mass and Brunch.  It was a great way for grandparents to introduce future Panthers to "everything Elder".  Grandparents and grandsons were be able to tour the technology labs and performing arts facilities in the Schaeper Center.  They also celebrated Mass together followed by brunch in the cafeteria. 

Elder Alumni Family Picnic - August 12th
What a perfect evening to enjoy old-fashioned festival rides, food, and fun with friends at the annual Elder Alumni Family Picnic!  This year's event was Friday, August 12th at Stricker's Grove.  Live entertainment was provided by Seton/Elder Steel Drum Band and the Elder Glee Club.  Thanks to all those who attended and those on the commitee who made it such a memorable evening!  Click here to view photos from this year's picnic on our Facebook page.  Hope to see you at next year's picnic - August 10, 2012!

"Over 50" Mass and Brunch - June 26th
Alums who have been graduated 50 years or more were invited to attend the "Over 50" Mass and Brunch on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Schaeper Center.  The Elder High School Glee Club Ensemble provided entertainment for this year's event.

Alumni Golf Outing - June 3rd
The Annual Elder Alumni Golf Outing was held on Friday, June 3rd at Deer Run and Aston Oaks.   Dinner  immediately followed golf at the Aston Oaks Banquet Center.  Thanks to all who made this a memorable event!

Elder Businessmen's Association Golf Classic - May 13th
On Friday, May 13th the Elder Businessmen's Association Golf Classic was held at the Grand Oak Golf Course.  This is an important scholarship fundraising event to assist graduating seniors to continue their education.

Jerry Stautberg Memorial Car Show - May 1st
On Sunday, May 1st the Jerry Stautberg Memorial Car Show was held at the Harvest Home Fairgrounds.  All profits from the car show benefit the Jerry Stautberg Memorial Scholarship Fund at Elder High School.  To read a recent article about the Jerry Stautberg Memorial Car Show, click here.  For more information visit www.jerryscarshow.com.

Elder Alumni Family Walk - April 10th
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning to walk through "Elder Country".  Over 350 walkers enjoyed the sunshine, warm temperatures, and camaraderie while participating in the 2nd Annual Elder Alumni Family Walk on Sunday, April 10th.  Following the walk, participants enjoyed a grill out in "The Pit".  All proceeds benefit the Elder High School Scholarship Fund and The Woman's Connection.  Thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors, and walkers for making this an event to remember.

Alumni Tennis Players - March 25th
Alumni tennis players were invited to come out and play against your 2011 Panthers March 25th at Western Racquet Club. 

35th Annual Sports Stag - February 15th
The 35th Annual Elder Sports Stag was held Tuesday, February 15th.  University of Cincinnati Head Football Coach, Butch Jones was the featured speaker for this year's event.  Elder graduates who are priests and/or former teachers were also honored at the event.
