Elder High School is a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). As a member, we abide by organization rules. Student participation in sports is explained in the OHSAA Student-Athlete Eligibility Guide
which you can access through this link.
Planning to participate in sports at Elder? If so, a physical examination is required by both Elder and the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
Athletes should complete their Emergency Medical form, the front side of the Physical form and the OHSAA Authorization and bring to the physical. Failure to turn in will result in athletes not being able to participate in tryouts.
All student athletes must turn in a physical form, an ImPACT testing permission form, a concussion form, a sudden cardiac arrest form, and a training rule pledge. These forms may be turned in to the Main office or to Elder Sports Medicine Staff.
