Placement Test

Incoming freshman students interested in attending Elder High School must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT).  The exam was offered at Elder on November 20, 2010 for a $25.00 fee.  Fee must be paid at time of registration.  Registration deadline is Monday, November 1.

(In extenuating circumstances, a make-up exam may be offered.  Contact Maureen Regan in the Admissions Office to register for the make-up.)

Students can take the test at any high school in which they can enroll and have the option of sending their results to up to three different schools.

Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 A.M.  Please arrive by 7:45 A.M. to allow sufficient time for check in.  Remember to bring two (2) number two pencils and the use of calculators is not permitted during testing.  A snack will be provided during the exam.

You may register for the placement exam by mail.  Registration information will be mailed from Elder to homes October 20, 2010.

To be eligible for scholarships and admission to the Elder High School Honors Program, prospective students completing the exam at another high school must indicate that they would like their results shared with Elder High School at the time of testing.

You do not have to create a PayPal account when using this option. Registration is not complete without payment.
