Registration
In early February, records are requested for those students who have sent in the registration cards and fees.
Counselors then review the student records and make recommendations for the freshman year, which is sent home to parents to review. Recommendations are based upon the following criteria:
High School Placement Test (HSPT)
Terra Nova Test of Basic Skill - taken in the 8th grade
Grades from the 6th, 7th & 8th grades
Recommendations from grade school teachers
In the spring, students and parents are invited to Elder to complete the scheduling for the freshman year. Parents who wish to consult with a counselor may call 513-921-3744 prior to scheduling night.
