Educational Scholarship Assistance Program or ESAP
(Formerly Elder Scholars Assistance Program)


ESAP Financial Aid Awards

  • Awards will be in the following amounts of $100-$500 per student.
  • Open to both boys and girls who attend ESAP participating Catholic grade schools.
  • Available for students who will be in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 next school year.
  • Awards will be based on financial need as determined by PSAS (Private School Aid Service).  All information is confidential. There is a $23 application fee.
  • If you completed the PSAS aid application for any school or program within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in the fall of 2010 or spring of 2011, you do not need to re-apply. You are automatically considered for ESAP aid awards.
  • Once the awards are made, funds will be sent to the grade school to be credited to the family’s tuition bill for the next school year.
  • March 1, 2012:  Applications due.
  • May 14, 2012:  Notification date.

1.  The Interactive Financial Aid Form can be completed directly on the computer screen by placing the cursor at the appropriate fields and typing in the information. The completed document can then be printed and saved to your computer.

2. The form can also be printed and completed manually.

3. Please mail the completed form and application fee to the following address:

ESAP Scholarship Awards

There will be additional awards given to one 7th grade boy and one 7th grade girl at each ESAP participating Catholic grade school.  The scholarship is for the 8th grade year and based on an application with short essay.  This award is not related to financial need.  The scholarship award is $500 per student.  Scholarship applications are due March 1, 2012. 

The funds committed to this program are completely separate from Elder’s General Fund and Tuition Assistance Program. Elder High School is strictly the administrator for the program.
