Admissions

Elder High School is a comprehensive Catholic high school committed to educating young men in grades 9-12. We welcome students regardless of religion, race, national origin, or ethnic background. Young men who wish to be a part of the Elder High School community will find an academically challenging and spiritually enriching environment.
How to apply
To apply to Elder High School, current 8th grade students must:
1. Contact Maureen Regan in the Admissions Office to inquire about applying for admission. She can be reached at (513) 921-3744 ext. 3417.
2. Complete the Prospective Student Application and submit academic records. Click here for the Prospective Student Application and Records Release form.
3. Students applying for admission may be required to take the High School Placement Test. This will be explained when you contact the Admissions Office.
Students who wish to apply to the Honors Program and students who wish to receive accommodations as an Elder student have additional application requirements which follow.
Honors Program Students wishing to apply to the Honors Program must complete the two steps above as well as complete the Honors Program application and submit two Scholarship Recommendations by December 9, 2011. Students admitted to the Honors Program are awarded Honors Program scholarships. (Application to be posted soon.)
Accommodations Elder provides limited services to students identified through their public school district as eligible for accommodations. Those who wish to receive accommodations as a student at Elder must complete the two steps above and submit all required documentation, including the Authorization to Release Accommodation Information, by December 9, 2011. Spaces are limited so timely submission of materials is very important.
Admission decisions will be mailed on Jan. 6, 2012. At that time, students also will be notified if they are receiving scholarships and/or financial aid.
