Tuition Assistance/Financial Aid
It is our goal to assure that every young man desiring a quality, Catholic education has the opportunity to attend Elder despite any financial difficulties his family may experience. As a result, Elder commits nearly $2 million a year to its tuition assistance program. About 58% of families qualify for assistance.
To help determine the amount a family can afford to pay toward tuition, Elder works with PSAS (Private School Aid Service). Families complete a PSAS financial aid application which PSAS assesses. Their assessment is sent to Elder and is used by us to make tuition assistance decisions.
Completed applications were due to PSAS by March 1, 2010. In order for applications to be considered, students must be currently enrolled or registered incoming freshmen.
Late Applications May Be Filed:
Please contact Mrs. Leslie Lamps at 921-3744 or lamps.l@elderhs.org to request an application. Applications filed after March 1st will be reviewed in order of submission. Awards for families filing after the due date and who qualify for an award may be adjusted due to availability of aid funds.
Please do not mail completed applications to Elder High School.
Please mail to: Private School Aid Service, P.O. Box 770728, Lakewood , Ohio 44107-0034
Award notifications will be mailed by April 15, 2010.
Please contact our Director of Admissions, Mrs. Maureen Regan at 921-3744 ext. 3417 or regan.m@elderhs.org. Questions concerning our financial aid program should be directed to Mr. Doug Guenther, Business Manager, at guenther.d@elderhs.org.
