Scholarships

A variety of scholarships are available to Elder students. Some are based solely on the High School Placement Test (HSPT) scores; others are based in part on the HSPT as well as criteria established by the donors. Applicants' grades, attendance and discipline records, standardized testing scores, and accommodation records (if applicable) from their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years of grade school will also be taken into consideration.

HOW TO APPLY
The criteria for scholarships vary and change from year to year. Students wishing to apply for scholarships at Elder should complete the New Student Scholarship Application. Additionally, students may apply for the John Zeiser Scholarship, Dennis A. Stemler Scholarship, and the Honors Band Scholarship (see below). Scholarship recommendations are not required.
The scholarship application deadline is on December 1, 2023. Late submissions will not be considered. Completed applications should be uploaded to your Elder Parent Account or sent to Elder via mail or email, c/o Mr. Joe Pieper - pieperjm@elderhs.net.
