Arts Homecoming Weekend - Elder Band/Guard Reunion & Performances

• 4:30-6:30 P.M. Cookout near the Grotto at Elder High School, including current and former Band Booster members
• 5:00 P.M. Alumni Steel Band performance in the Schaeper Center **
• 6:30 P.M. Current band joined by Elder Band/Guard alumni march to The Pit for a special performance, including Star Spangled Banner, Alma Mater, Fight Song, Centennial March (special composition written by Chris Daria, Elder Band alumni to celebrate Elder’s Centennial), Louie Louie, and Gimme Some Lovin’ **
• 7:15 P.M. Enjoy a performance of the Elder Band show “Decades”

ABOUT ARTS HOMECOMING WEEKEND
Elder has inspired and nurtured thousands of performing and visual artists, many of whom have gone on to storied careers in the arts - locally, nationally and internationally. Celebrate these artists during Arts Homecoming Weekend from September 9-11 with special events planned to highlight all the disciplines under Elder’s Arts programs.

• SEPTEMBER 9: Elder Glee Club and Alumni concerts in Washington Park and historic Memorial Hall in Over the Rhine - tickets required for Memorial Hall concert

• SETPEMBER 10: Music Fest at Jim & Jack's on the River - local bands featuring Elder alumni (12:00-5:30 P.M.)

• SEPTEMBER 10: Band Booster reunion, Alumni Steel Band performance in the Schaeper Center, and current and former Elder Band and Guard performance in The Pit (4:30-8:00 P.M.)

• SEPTEMBER 10: "BONANZA! The Spirit of an Era" Art Exhibition opening reception at Elevar Design Group Gallery (3:00-6:00 P.M.)

• SEPTEMBER 11: The weekend culminates with a special mass celebrating Elder Arts at St. William Church followed by a brunch reception (more info coming soon)

• SEPTEMBER 12-23: "BONANZA! The Spirit of an Era" Art Exhibition show dates (Mon-Fri, 12:00-4:00 P.M.
