QPR - Suicide Prevention Training

The Elder Moms' Club, in collaboration with the School Counseling Department, will be hosting a QPR - Suicide Prevention Training for parents/guardians of current Elder students. QPR is a suicide prevention method that will help people recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communications of people in trouble, and gain the skills to act decisively to prevent a possible tragedy. QPR is not a form of counseling or treatment; rather, it is intended to offer hope through positive action.
The training will be presented by Jen Graham, Director of School Counseling, and Scott Ridder, School Psychologist. Registration is required. Parents or guardians of current Elder students who plan to attend must register by March 24, 2023.
