Shadow Days

Choosing the right high school can be an exciting but challenging process. A Shadow Visit allows your future Elder Panther to walk in the shoes of a current student during the course of a normal school day. Your son will be greeted by his host at the start of his day, have the opportunity to speak with current students and our esteemed faculty members, walk the halls during a campus tour, and experience the Elder classroom.

COVID-19 Notice

We are happy to be able to welcome shadows to Elder during this unique school year.  Because your son’s safety is our top priority throughout the day, shadows and guests are expected to adhere to the same safety measures that all Elder students, faculty, and staff follow on a daily basis:
  1. All shadows will have their temperatures checked as they arrive.
  2. A symptom questionnaire will need to be completed before entering any building on site. The questionnaire can be completed via QR Code, which Elder will have on hand when your son arrives. Paper copies will also be available.
  3. A mask must be worn at all times when in the school building, and when not properly socially distant outdoors. (Exceptions: when eating/drinking, or if a documented medical issue prevents them from wearing a mask).
If your son is feeling sick in the days prior to his shadow day, then please contact Mr. Joe Pieper at or 513-921-3429 to reschedule his visit.
