Students interested in transferring to Elder High School should have a cumulative "C" average or higher and be in good standing in academics, discipline, and attendance. Elder High School accepts transfer students during the summer before the start of the new school year. In special cases, Elder can accept transfer students before the start of the second semester. Transfer students are encouraged to schedule a shadow day through the Admissions Office.

Elder High School Transfer Process:

1. Complete an Admissions Application;
2. Send a Records Release Form to student's current high school for the release of the following records:
  • Transcript
  • Standardized Test Scores
  • Attendance Records
  • Discipline Records
3. Send a completed Transfer Student Recommendation Form to Elder's Admissions Office.
