  • Oberammergau Passion Play 2022

DUE TO THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, THE 2020 PERFORMANCES OF THE PASSION PLAY HAVE BEEN POSTPONED TO 2022.  Please call 513-451-1227 if you have interest in one of the 2022 performances or if you have any questions.

The townspeople of Oberammergau made a promise nearly 400 years ago to perform the Passion Play once every decade if God would save them from the devastating Bubonic plague. The 42nd performance of the Passion Play was to take place in 2020; however, the coronavirus pandemic caused it to be postponed to 2022. The Friends of Elder Travel program is now accepting reservations for this epic event and chance of a lifetime!

Select from seven itineraries that feature the Passion Play in Oberammergau, which is located in the Bavarian Alps of Germany, including:
    • Exploring The Alpine Countries
    • Imperial Cities
    • Discover Switzerland, Austria & Bavaria
    • Germany’s Cultural Cities & the Romantic Road
    • Austrian Delight
    • Alpine Explorer & the Glacier Express Train
    • Classic Danube River Cruise
For each reservation secured through our Catholic parishes, a $150.00 donation will be made to the parish, and by traveling with Friends of Elder Travel, money is raised for the Friends of Elder Travel Scholarship at Elder High School.

To make reservations and take advantage of these incentives, call Collette Travel at 1-800-528-9917 and use the Friends of Elder Travel code 24694-125 when booking. Click here to view details about the various itineraries.
