Today is the Feast of Saint Agatha. She is the patron saint: of Sicily, bellfounders, breast cancer, against fire, rape victims, and nurses.

through whose intercession in Christ we hope for the restored health of body and soul,
hasten to lead us to the true Good, God alone.
By your intercession,
O blessed Agatha, may we ever enjoy your protection by faithfully witnessing to Christ.
