Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Adam Rankin, and his staff will direct Elder's Strength & Conditioning Camp this spring and summer (2020).
The camp will offer instruction in strength training, conditioning, and nutrition for any and all incoming Elder freshmen as well as for those rising 8th graders considering Elder in their future.
Shed defenders with increases in your Strength;
Elude defenders with lightning fast Agility and Quickness;
Develop break away Speed and Acceleration;
Increase Explosiveness and Power;
Most importantly: Develop Healthy Nutrition and Exercise Habits that will last a lifetime!
Each day, campers will learn strength and conditioning techniques designed towards safety, improving strength, speed, overall conditioning, and developing great nutritional habits. From improving your speed, to being in better overall health, this camp will fulfill any goal you have of self improvement!
Camp will be held on designated Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the spring and summer (see dates below). Each camper should wear a t-shirt, athletic shorts, and athletic shoes to all sessions.
Orientation for Parents and Participants: Tuesday, March 17, 6:15-8:00 P.M. in the Schaeper Center multi-purpose room -- this will include introductions to Strength & Conditioning from Coach Rankin and to Sports Nutrition from Dawn Weatherwax
Spring Session ($150): 5:00-7:00 P.M. every Monday-Wednesday-Friday, March 23-May 15
Summer Session ($150): 1:00-3:00 P.M. every Monday-Wednesday-Friday, June 1-July 31
