Elder Art Students Compete, Win at Plein Air Exhibition
Three Elder Art students participated in the 2019 High School Plein Air Exhibition this fall. One of them took home a top prize.
Students Caleb Freed' 22, Gabriel McDonald '21, and Jason Thomas '20 worked tirelessly in the extreme heat the weekend of September 28-29 at Eden Park to create their pieces of art.
Gabriel McDonald’s drawing was awarded Third Prize overall at the awards ceremony on October 6. He received a cash prize of $100 and his work will be framed and displayed with the other three winners at the Cincinnati Art Museum as well as other prominent locations around the city.
