Every year since 1975, the students, faculty, and staff of Elder High School have participated in the Walk for Others to raise important funds for our tuition assistance program and other local charities. Please consider making an online gift to this year's Walk for Others. Thank you for your support!

"Walking the Purple Path"

The 2026 Walk for Others will take place on Friday, March 20. The 12-mile route will wind its way through Elder Country, showing our Purple Pride throughout the West Side. Our theme this year is Walking the Purple Path, celebrating the legacy we inherited...and the future we're creating!

Each student is expected to raise at least $40.00 in donations by March 18, 2026. Students should seek donations from immediate family members, extended family, friends, neighbors, and even local businesspeople, Elder grads, etc.

Online Donations
Online donations are accepted at any time by clicking the link above or on the DONATE NOW button found on this page. Donors will then have the option of making a general donation to the Walk or to a specific student's fundraising efforts.

Cash/Check Donations
Leading up to the Walk, there will be specific dates when students can turn in cash and check donations that they may have collected:

- MARCH 11
- MARCH 18

All cash/check collections will take place during students' first bell of the day. Students should place their cash/checks in envelopes and clearly print their names and grade levels on the outside of the envelope. Please do not send in donations on days other than those listed above. Checks should be made payable to Elder High School with "Walk" on the memo line.

Our goal this year is to raise $95,000. Proceeds will benefit Elder's tuition assistance program and other local charities. Please help by making a donation today. Thank you for your support!

SERVANT LEADERSHIP

Elder High School is committed to serving others, and we stand tall as a servant leader in the community. In fact, we teach this in our classrooms on a daily basis. Just like in 1975, this is a student run event, led by seniors Sam Bill, Joey Carter, Brody Kremm, Aedan McKenna, and Tyler Schroer.

The Walk for Others is an opportunity for all Elder students to put their servant leadership into action through personal fundraising efforts, thus helping to make a Catholic education more affordable for Elder families. 80% of Walk proceeds benefit Elder’s tuition assistance program, and 20% is donated to other charitable organizations which serve Price Hill and surrounding neighborhoods in various ways. Each student is expected to raise at least $40.00 in donations by March 18, 2026.

Through the Years...
